Ballast: something used to provide stability to a vehicle or structure.
Life is full of a storm of voices. Voices come from all over: books, blogs, and conversations and range from theology to business. Some voices are stronger than others, and if you’re not careful, it’s easy to capsize. That’s why it’s important to have a ballast, a way keep perspective, to ride the waves without capsizing.
That’s what I’m hoping this blog serves as, a ballast to help through the storms of opinions. I’m finishing up my degrees Biblical Studies and Business this coming semester. As I lave Biola, I want to continue to think critically about my majors, to understand what’s going on in both landscapes and engage with the culture around me.
